SMM reported on June 19 that this week, LFP prices dropped slightly, with an overall decline of approximately 60 yuan/mt. This was mainly due to the slight decrease in lithium carbonate prices this week, which cumulatively fell by about 200 yuan/mt. On the market side, the overall production of material factories remained stable this week, with demand beginning to diverge. After the impact of the US tariff reduction, the increase in ESS orders was significant, boosting the overall production enthusiasm of the industry. However, orders in the NEV market continued to show a slight downward trend, primarily due to the NEV market's demand and performance falling short of expectations. The production schedule for the NEV market at downstream battery cell manufacturers is expected to decrease week by week. It is anticipated that LFP material production in June will see an increase driven by ESS demand, but the increase will be very limited.
